Omar Al-Baghdadi: more than 30 years of legal leadership.
Senior Lawyer and Legal Counsel Omar Al-Baghdadi combines extensive legal practice with the management of matters where contracts, financial rights and litigation intersect. He began practice in 1996 after graduating from Damascus University’s Faculty of Law and now directs the firm’s legal strategy: identifying the basis for a claim or defence, developing arguments, reviewing submissions and assessing negotiation, settlement and arbitration options. His oversight connects the client’s objectives with the commercial and personal consequences of each step.
His experience spans commercial, shareholder and construction disputes, contracts and civil liability, administrative and property matters, and enforcement. For matters connected to Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Syria, his knowledge of applicable law informs the assessment of the relevant authority’s requirements and coordination with the responsible local lawyer. He brings his leadership experience to the review of evidence, legal drafting and coordination of the team throughout each engagement.
